E-commerce is undoubtedly a growing trend, as it reflects the consumer mentality that seeks instant services and a better shopping experience. This boom is reflected in the study prepared by the auditing firm Mazars in conjunction with the E-Commerce Foundation, which predicts that in 2018 online sales will reach US$71.2 billion in Latin America. This represents a growth of 15% compared to last year.
In Chile, the figures are also favourable, as they are expected to exceed US$5,000, making it the country with the highest per capita transactions in the region. The growth of electronic commerce in the country currently represents 1.4% of the Gross Domestic Product (GDP) and has more than doubled in the last five years. However, Chile is in third place for purchases made over the Internet (35%), surpassed by Argentina (39%) and Brazil (37%), figures that could easily exceed 50% in five years.
The constant increase in Internet access, which projects a large number of consumers of all ages and socioeconomic groups, as well as the increase in people’s income and the emergence of social networks, has led to the growth of digital sales.
For Aligare, this type of transaction is nothing new, as we have been managing purchase orders for major retail companies for several years using our Digital Transactional Engine (MTD), a solution that is specifically built to solve this problem. It is responsible for collecting and managing transactions by incorporating business rules and monitoring elements, providing complete visibility of the IT area. In addition, it considers integration with BackEnd systems and with ticket and invoice issuing systems. In turn, in SAAS mode, it facilitates the management of these purchase orders considering business rules, status management, exception control, email sending and integration with different legacy systems, such as logistics and accounting.
Aligare’s experience in these systems and processes makes us your best partner to carry out your essential technological project.
