On October 26 and 27, the 8.8 Computer Security Conference, the main technical conference on computer security in Chile and Latin America, will be held in our country for the eighth time. This cybersecurity event, which will take place at the Teatro Oriente in Providencia and is focused on ethical hacking, will feature sixteen hackers who are experts in analyzing and breaching computer systems, and will host speakers from the United States, Russia, Italy, Argentina, Colombia, Ecuador, Spain, the United Kingdom, and Chile. This year, the focus will be on vulnerabilities in payment systems (credit and debit cards that use proximity, contactless technologies), drones, and various security-oriented talks.

In recent times, there has been greater awareness of the benefits and savings associated with cybersecurity practices. In fact, in August, the government itself appointed Jorge Atton as Presidential Advisor on Cybersecurity to collaborate in the legal and institutional creation of a future public body in this area. In addition to all this, there has been a request to give urgency to the Personal Data Protection bill and on October 1, the National Congress approved Law 21,113, which declares October as Cybersecurity Month in Chile.

At Aligare we are aware of the importance of this issue and that is why we are already carrying out security tests based on blockchain, which offers more secure transmissions, for example, in the management of valuable documentation, credit cards, gift cards, among others.

Our Digital Transaction Engine (DTE), one of our business solutions, leverages the benefits of cloud technology, such as built-in network firewalls, TLS encryption in transit, DDoS attack mitigation, visibility into API calls, and public and private Secure Sockets Layer/Transport Layer Security (SSL/TLS) certificates.

However, regardless of the security protocols that exist, the methodology of continuous improvement and constant updating that ensures these systems must be considered. This working method is what distinguishes us at Aligare, since all processes are strictly supervised to deliver an excellent service to our clients.

We invite you to contact us and see how your company would benefit from our services through the use of technology.
